Adobe Flash has reached the end of the road. From December 2020 Chrome will no longer support Adobe Flash impacting, the use of Comb Connect, but there's no need to worry! Comb Communications is a step ahead. We have developed a new Comb Portal which does not require Adobe Flash and will operate faster, safer and more efficiently! The migration process has been completed. Check your inbox and spam folder for an email with your username and password to activate your account. The migration process has been completed. Check your inbox or spam folder for an email as indicated below with your organisations details.



1. Activate your account.

Once we have started migrating your organisation, we will begin adding users to their designated organisations. Once you have been added to your organisation, you will receive an email with your username and temporary password. Click on the "Activate Account" button to activate your account.



2. Reset Password.

Once you have activated your account, click the "Open comb portal" button below to navigate to the Comb Portal website. Log in with your username and temporary password (Comb Code no longer required). You will be prompted to reset your password, alternatively click the "Forgot password" button on the login page. Follow the instructions to request resetting your password. Check your email inbox and spam folder for an email as indicated below. Click the "Reset Password" button to set a new password.

Please note that the reset password link is only valid for 30 minutes, so please reset your password as soon as you receive the Reset Password email.




3. Login into Comb Portal with new password.

Once you have reset your password, click the "Open Comb Portal" button below to navigate to the Comb Portal website. Login with your username and new password.


Congratulations! You have successfully migrated and logged into the new Comb Portal.

Frequently asked questions


1) Why is Adobe Flash discontinued?

Adobe's vice president of product development, Govind Balakrishnan, said the firm had chosen to end Flash because other technologies, such as HTML5, had matured and are capable enough to provide viable alternatives to the Flash player that will be faster, more efficient and safer.


2) Will Comb Connect continue to work once Adobe Flash is discontinued?

Unfortunately not, Comb Connect works through Adobe Flash, so the moment Adobe Flash is discontinued your browser will no longer support Comb Connect. Going forward users will need to access the new Comb Portal.


3) Will all my data be transferred from Comb-Connect to Comb Portal through the migration process and will there be a down-time that impacts my gate openings?

Yes, all organisational data will be transferred from Comb Connect to Comb Portal during the bulk migration. Whilst the automated migration process is taking place, we anticipate a down-time period of 24 hours. This will not impact on the operation of your hardware and gate openings.


4) Will I have the same features I had on Comb-Connect?

Yes, not only will you have all the features, but you will have more!


5) What should I do if I don't receive an email with my Comb Portal login credentials?

If you have not received an email 24 hours after the migration, please contact our support team support@comb-communications.com.
